VALUATION AND AUCTION SALE SERVICES

ELR provide professional advice on all matters relating to the Valuation and Sale of Chattels and we travel throughout the Midlands, North of England and beyond to do so.

If you are considering selling items by auction an appraisal can be carried out free of charge. If a Valuation of Chattels is required for

  • Insurance
  • Probate
  • Insurance Claim
  • Inheritance Tax
  • Family Division
  • Willing Seller / Willing Buyer

or any other purpose an inventory can be compiled at highly competitive fees (which are charged on an hourly rate, or on a percentage basis).

Quotations for preparing Valuations and Inventories can be provided promptly, free of charge and without obligation.




VALUATIONS AT OUR SALEROOMS

Free verbal Advice and Valuations are available at the Salerooms

  • Mondays to Thursdays 9am to 4pm
  • or by appointment with a specific Specialist Valuer if required.

In addition to this we hold many Specialist Valuation Days both at the Saleroom and at locations throughout South Yorkshire and Derbyshire on a regular basis; these are advertised in the local press or please contact the Saleroom for further information.




CLEARANCE AND REMOVAL OF CHATTELS FOR AUCTION

ELR provide an efficient, discreet and thorough removal service for Clients, including owners and executors of very large numbers of chattels. Our complete removal service means that all items are removed, whether saleable or un-saleable, leaving premises in a tidy condition.

High value or specialist items are reserved for the appropriate auction. Courtesy and care is provided at all stages of the Appraisal, Collection, Transportation, Storage, Auction and After- Sale service.

Our Salerooms are open for Deliveries and Collections Monday to Thursday 9am to 4pm and we have a secure drive-in facility for the safe (and dry!) delivery or collection of items by car or lorry.

Our 'Antiques & Collectables' Auctions are held fortnightly, so the time span from collection to cheque settlement can be conveniently rapid.
