SPECIALIST ‘MEDALS & MILITARIA’ AUCTIONS

These auctions take place twice a year, in February and August and are held in the first floor saleroom. They have grown steadily in popularity and now hold approximately 100 to 200 Lots.

ELR have two Specialist Valuers covering the sections of this sale;

The Specialist Valuer covering the Militaria section; including, knives, swords, powder flasks, binoculars, books, badges, photographs, bayonets, rifles, uniforms pistols and other arms and weaponry plus other associated collectable items; is available in the Saleroom, Monday to Thursday, for free pre-sale appraisals and advice, however it is recommended that an appointment is made to ensure that he is available and has the appropriate amount of time to appraise your items.

The Specialist Valuer covering the Medals section holds two Valuations and Appraisal Days by appointment in the Saleroom prior to each auction. If you are not able to attend in person prior to these days you are welcome to bring items in Monday to Thursday, where the Valuations team will ensure that the Valuer sees them during his visit.

We produce a printed catalogues for these auctions and they are listed on both our website and many specialist auction sites such as The Antiques Trade Gazette "The Saleroom.com", Invaluable and UKAuctioneers.com and notifications are mailed to our comprehensive databases of both Trade and Private buyers. They are also advertised within the Local, National and Trade press and other publications.
