QUARTERLY ‘ANTIQUE AND FINE ART’ AUCTIONS

These auctions traditionally take place in March, June, September and December, but occasionally there will be additional auctions as the volume of pieces suitable for theses auctions fluctuates. They take place in the ground floor saleroom and will usually hold between 400 and 600 Lots of single items and small collections to large country estates, consigned for auction from both private individuals to Solicitors and Executors of Estates from within the Derbyshire and South Yorkshire region.

These are specialist catalogued auctions comprising Glass, European Ceramics, Oriental Ceramics & Items, Silver Plate & White Metal, Silver, Jewellery, Watches, Maps, Engravings, Etchings, Lithographs, Limited Edition and Signed Prints, Watercolours, Oils, Textiles, Works of Art & Collectables, Statuary, Light fittings, Toys & Dolls, Mirrors, Scientific Instrument & Barometers, Clocks including Longcase, and fine, period Furniture.

We produce an illustrated, full colour, glossy printed catalogues for these auctions and they are listed on both our website and many specialist auction sites such as The Antiques Trade Gazette "The Saleroom.com", Invaluable and UKAuctioneers.com and notifications are mailed to our comprehensive databases of both Trade and Private buyers. They are also advertised within the Local, National and Trade press and other publications.

ELR hold regular Specialist 'Fine Arts & Antiques' Valuation Days in the Saleroom by appointment for free pre-sale appraisals and advice. Please contact The Saleroom with enquiries.

ELR's Valuations team is also available in the Saleroom, Monday to Thursday between 10am and 4pm, for free pre-sale appraisals and advice.
